OMG!!!

This truck brought $29K!!! It was nice and all, but $29,000 worth of nice? I am not sure about that. The condition code said HX. While we know they are usually not right, some times they are! Maybe, the motor is locked up or the transmssion (CAT semi-automatic 16 speed!) is bad.

I was watching that truck. I was wondering what they go for. Now I know.

I thought of trying to get it, but then I figured, "Nah, I don't want to spend the $10-12K that it would take to get it." Man, was I mistaken. Yeah, MADDAWG, it took two newbies to bid it up that high. I hope they knew what they were doing (i.e., they have a plan for the truck and just did not bid it up that high because they had no clue what it was worth). I can see some real commercial applications for the truck, but, man that is high. When a used Freightliner road tractor goes for $16,500 with a rebuilt motor (just spoke to Ray Patton about what he paid for his truck), this price is rediculous. I realize this M920 is an 8X6, but no one really knows if it runs or not.

I was watching that truck too. The price seemed high to me, but keep in mind that is still less than half the price of some of the new pickups out there!

Okay Bruce! My schedule bites for I will be driving pass Aberdeen this Monday...hmmm carry on luggage...I wonder if it will fit in my 1 quart baggy? The winch not the M920...
