Good morning Brothers, I recently got a 1984 JD 844A wheel loader form the navy. The Navy painted it a green color ( as opposed to the original yellow JD did). Does anyone know the color of paint that is used by the navy currently on their heavy equipment. It is darker than 383.
Thanks,

It would have belonged to the Seabees. Perhaps there is someone here who was a seabee and can tell you better, but I think they use Marine Corp green like on Marine One. Federal Standard # 14097.

See if it matches 34079, commonly called Forest Green. (24079 if its semi-gloss).

Also look at 34052 Marine Green, which the Seabees often use. (semi-gloss is 24052)

Cheers

PS didn't see greenjeepster's post before I sent mine in.
