Paint,
I'm getting ready to paint my M-135..I'm using Gillespie paint (enamel) and primer..Have conflicting input on the application. One is that I can apply the primer and the following primer coats and finish coats directly, providing I apply the correct drying times, the other one is that I must scuff between coats, eg scotch brite or 220 grit.
Also in the preparation, is 60 grit sand good enough for the wheels and frame parts, or should there be additional preparation. I plan to remove the any contamination after sandblasting usinb laquer thinner. New to this painting and plan to use a HVLP. Lookin for some help.
