Painted the Dashpad

Was picking up some stuff for the M1009 at Advanced Auto Parts and found some vinyl spray. So got a can and tried it out.

how does it match up to Oem? what is the color on that can?

I wish my dash was in that good of shape! I'm gonna have to get a new one, but yours looks nice with that fresh paint! Can't wait to see it installed

The dash came out of a suburban.

The lable on the back of the can says 248925 Burgundy. I'ts seams lighter than my seats. I'll need to check in the daylight tomorrow.

That's what I used on mine also. It is a little redder, but looks good. You can see it in my build thread.

oh yea, i put 4/5 coats on that and door panels, and it wears very well.

Looks good. I painted my entire interior with the dupont vinyl black paint I like it seems to work and stick well

I have the Dupont vinyl color mixing code for the original color. If anyone want's it PM me. I'll also post it later when I get home.

its not a blood wine color...like oem....its definitely redder..but does look good......considering the original finish was well worn......too bad they dont have a darker color.......

It can be mixed for a low, med, or high gloss. I think the medium gloss looks closer to OEM!
