picked up my last deuce today...
...and had to call a wrecker about 30% of the way home. Ugh.
She's at a storage facility close by where I had to shut her down. Oil pressure was slowly and steadily dropping, so I shut her down before anything really bad happened.
Oil pressure started off at drmo around 30 PSI. About 30 miles later, she was dangerously low and I had to shut her down.
Spent the day tracking down and pricing wreckers and storage facilities. $200 for a 7 mile tow. Which was a little less than half of what the other nearby tow companies wanted.
Anyways... what do ya'll suppose the problem is? I checked the oil and it's got full oil. Nor could I see any leaks of any kind.
If the oil pump was just dead, wouldn't pressure have dropped off all at once rather than slowly and steadily?
