I bought a 1954 M107A2 about 2 weeks ago. Towed it 750 miles home from Oakland Ca. Had been looking for a good water buffalo for about a year to water trees on our property in eastern AZ. It's in very good condition and complete with all of it's original faucets. Trailer needs a little cleaning up.
I have a question for anyone who knows tires: It has a matching set of BF Goodrich Sivertown's on it. The date codes are:
1 - DOT BF2F M11346
2 - DOT BF2F M11426
Does anyone know how old they are?
These tires are in great shape, but as far as I can tell Sivertowns are true antique tires. I'm wondering if the tires are original. Based on the condition of the trailer, it may have been in storage for many years. It came through the DRMO in 1995. I got an SF97 with it.
I also added a picture of the M1028A1, I washed it today in 101 degrees. It's start'n to warm up a little in AZ.
Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and remembering those who gave so much to keep us free!
