Plug fitting

May be a dumb question, but I've never had to do it before..

I am unhook in the hydraulic jack to the spare tire. How do I determine the size of the fitting that will plug the line prior to unhooking? Most of the fittings have been army painted over, I can only see a "-4-4-4" on one fitting, that doesn't seem to correspond to anything.

The panel side is a 4 male jic. The hose is a 4 female. Go to your hydraulic shop and tell em you need a female and male cap for 4 jic

Air lines are DOT fitting sizes. You may have 1/4 3/8 or 1/2. You will have to use a DOT fitting with an NPT on the other side to get a cap or plug. If that doesn't make sense to you. I can rig up what i mean in a pic.
