Poughkeepsie(NY) Wings and Wheels event...

Glad I have your attention! There is the potential for a new event to be created - The Tunison Foundation (C47 "Plassid Lassie" D-Day survivor) people are looking to hold an event at the Poughkeepsie Airfield - I am doing some ground work to try and find a good weekend, within the MV calendar, for this.

So, maybe I should do a poll(???) but what is the consensus of regional MV owners, if they'd come and which weekends they think would be open...... Naturally there's Norwich NY, Sussex NJ, Colchester CT, Weare NH, (Findlay OH), Gilbert PA.....

4-1/2 hrs southbound in a M39-series or M809-series 5-ton at our age ? nuff said.

or 3-1/2hrs in FLD120 w/stepdeck and a couple 5-tons on its back? Do-able, but i don't need to see if (so-called gov) hochul's DOT in Albany/Rensselaer counties is as easily-triggered as rumored
