price on used 6.2 heads

working on a 88 1ton suburban.. needs a set of heads.. a friend of a friend is taking the 6.2 out of a cucv.. its locked up.. 36k heads look great.. 300 bucks thought. 4 5 years ago i was buying complete 6.2s for 300.. i need to get this work done soon. hes firm on the 300...

what other options do i have? thanks

Inflation by demand. These vehicles have become popular, Ebay is a good source for the market price although it probably is a bit inflated.
