Darned buckets rotted. Worse, bushings are breaking and end nuts are frozen.

Anyone know the best procedure for removing the frozen nuts from the hood? Or do I need to drill out/brute strength them?

Do you have enough room to get a Dremel with cutoff disc in there, or a nut splitter on the nut? Or, run a hacksaw through the center of the bolt, right through the nut after pulling out the bucket. Brute force may not work, and damage the fiberglass. Do you have the metal reinforcement ring on the back of the fiberglass, or are the washers/nuts directly on the fiberglass?

Fastest and least damaging… drill out flat side other side. Annoying but simple.

Other method would have been tack weld a bolt to other side and use ratchets both sides.

not enough room for a cutoff wheel and Dremmel just too small.

Thanks guys!
