Project "Liftgate" off the ground! *pics*

I have finally decided to put a lift gate on the truck!!
about 3/4 the way finished, just have to hook up electrical, air, and make everything "pretty"

it BARLEY fit behind the tires!... only 1" clearance! and still had to extend the bed by 2" with square tubing
and need to come up with something for a fast easy removable "tailgate" maybe drop in.

From what I have seen it does not appear this will severely limit the off-roading ability just the departure angle, it will probably match the front with the winch.

Hmmm, that clearance looks kinda scary. But I really like that station wagon, what model is that? (sorry, just reliving my youth )

yes it is close but it will clear the tires up/ down movement...
the wagon.. thats a 73 Coronet with a 440c.i.

I like the Trans Am. I have a GTO, Ventura, Catalina, Formula, and 56 GMC. extra points for the first to mention the connection of the GMC to the rest. Nice job on the lift gate.
