PTO Gasket

Any one know what thickness gasket is reqired to achieve proper gear spacing between the transmission pto and its drive gear in the transmission?

There is no specific gasket thickness. You have to install it, check the backlash and adjust accrodingly. I try to keep a few of each size here so I can get it done in one try.

Proper way is with the tranny on the floor. You can remove the outer cover of the PTO and position a mag base and dial indicator to check it. I do mine by feel basically reaching in the PTO once bolted on and rocking the inner gear back ans forth. As long as it has free play, I run it. A little to much is better than a little to little.
