Pumping unit switch?

The motor on this unit says 55 amps max. 1.5 hp motor.

That switch plug (on the left) looks awfully puny to be handling that amount of current at 27 or so volts. Is it possible that there's a 60+ amp rated relay inside that box behind the switch plug?

Yup. In another thread someone said all you have to do is jumper the 2 contacts. Sounds like it would close a relay to me. No way those little wires carry that much current.

Electric pump for a TPU (tank pump unit). Fuel operated had a hand held remote on a cable he used to turn pump motor on/off. A long slave cable ran from the "big" recep. to the slave recp on the truck.
