Putting larger tires on the deuce using stock rims...

Man there is some good stuff on this page...so, I have a question and value some opinions. I have an m35a2 with a van box, it is being converted in too a preppers delight, the ultimate overland tiny home. I want to be able to have more off road capabilities because while we travel, it will be mostly off of the beaten path. What would be the biggest, most aggressive tread, that I could fit on the stock rims, with keeping duals. I do plan on doing a disc brake conversion as well...my rig in the pic (The Green Bastard)
I think 1100s are about it. I ran them on my two deuces, I never had trouble with the tires rubbing the center pivot bolts like some people reported. My torque arms were in good shape. I never had them rub the bottom of the box and zero issues with steering. I thought they drove better on 1100s. I did shear a second gear key, which I never did with the 900s. As a traction tire, the 1100 Michelin XLs were tough to beat.

I think he can get away with 12.00R20s.

I never had them at my disposal or even saw a set. I know 11.00s put you very close to the center pivot bolts when running duals. Trying to find my photos of my truck and the sidewalls close to the suspension pivot, must be buried or deleted.
My understanding is 11.00 NDTs don't rub the pivot.

My experience is 11.00 G177s do.

Other people have posted they've used 12.00s without problem.
