Sure it's been discussed, just can't find it! Do's and Don'ts for towing civilian 5th wheel camper behind or with 1088. Modifications needed, or any useful intell on heights!.

Thanks
Bob.

Power unit has 24v lights. Memphis used to sell converter from 24v military plug to 12v ASAE 12 volt commercial plug. Brakes ? Does your trailer have air brakes? Can the goose neck on the trailer be adjusted to compensate for fifth wheel height ? Commercial trucks are typically 48" high, military double trunnion wheels may be 60" high (m818). If these issues are not addressable wouldn't a Dodge 3500 dually serve you ? Also carefully monitor the air pressure in the trailer tiers and do not overload the trailer. Service trailer wheel bearings periodically too.
