Receiver for M1008

Does anyone know what model of civilian truck corresponds to the M1008 for a receiver kit? I would like to add a receiver to my M1008 without adding it to the bumper or replacing the pintle.

I did a search but could not find anything related to a full receiver kit that mounts to the frame. I want to make sure I order the correct size for the M1008.

Your right...nothing to be found....

You truck is just a 1984 Chevy K3500. Your model year may be different but all the CUCVs where built to the 1984 specs. That way they didn't have to stock multiple parts for different model years.

Thanks Warthog. I did find a lot of details on receivers and I am sure this info is on the board somewhere. Just wanted to make sure I am ordering the right parts. Thanks for the links and your help.

I ordered a Curt 14082 yesterday for mine. Another member installed on his 08 and it looked like it was the easiest install. It mounts to the bottom of the frame instead of inside the frame. I dont think its in the posts that Warthog listed but I'm sure if you type in "Curt 14082" it will come up. Good luck!
