Redstone recovery

Well my EUC finally cleared, I get to go get my two M109s, and two 105 trailers. I can pick up other stuff from there too, if needed. I will be going through Atl, and down to Tampa (area).
Walter I dont know if you ever got what you needed. but I can pick it up for you.

I will be leaving for atl, next Fri,
Let me know if there is anything else, or anyone else needs something delivered.

Would you take a look at and some pictures of a deuce that im waiting for an euc to clear on.
The lot # is 3904. Im planning on having it towed but would love to drive it home.

My appointment is set for 1100 Mon.
I dont have any room for the Tampa to Atl trip, but I will have room on the Atl to Tampa trip.

Redstone went smooth and uneventful for me. They do not want anyone screwing around with a truck, filling fluids and such within the yard (I can see their point). They will jump start you if needed, then you just get your stuff out of the yard gate where you can check things, air up, whatever n go. I was lucky, the M818 and M105A2 needed nothing but some air in the tires, so I fire up the 818, hooked the 105, aired up then and left.

Oh, use the commercial gate. Its close to the GL lot and is easy to use.

Forgot to add, driving thru Birmingham is not fun. Atlanta is not so bad, just stay in the middle and try not to hit anyone.

Thats the route I took. Don't know if he was planning on going thru there. Its called a friendly warning.

My parents live in Douglasville (outside) so I will be taking the shortest route to their house. After that I will bring one to Fl, and come get the other one after I find a way to get the fuel up there for it. I need to find a extra driver for the trip from Redstone to Ga. now

Leaving now to go get one truck, seems all my friends who volunteered to help, have backed out at last minute. So its two trips to Redstone. If I have your number stand bye for a call if I need help.

Well after 8 hours on the road and 400 miles driven, I am sad to say that I have not even seen the trucks yet. I made it to Redstone at 1230, and was told that the people with the key for the Drmo key was not working today. They however did offer to let me take the trailers. I brought a Ford Escort, that could only end bad. towing two 105 trailers behind the car that sags with batteries in the back.
This said, I will try again later this week.

do they have a ramp or a loading dock there that would allow you to load a vehicle or trailer onto a flatbed? trying to plan for a future purchase. have a friend with a flatbed that is down that way a lot. would save me from dragging my equipment trailer down there.

Heres the quick update.
Got my trucks to my parents house. A HUGE thanks goes out to Wreckerman, so saved my bacon.
Tomorrow I will be taking one down the road back home to Tampa.
