Registering a m62 wrecker in california?

Hello friends I recently have got my 1957 m62 running and am interested if anyone has ever registered one to drive in CA. I have called the DMV and CHP with no good results yet. Any assistance would be great. Thanks Chris

I'm currently reviewing the Texas Former Military Vehicle pertinent Laws and posting those discussions in the Texas FMV Law thread.

I could just imagine how UNfriendly California might be to FMV's.
