remove moldings?

I got a bed for my pickup , mine is rusted out but the bed i got is in a+ shape but has stick on moldings down the side of it does any one know how to remove thies with minimal damage to the paint? I'm going to repaint the bed but don't want to do any damage to it.

Dental floss works pretty good. Just hook an edge and use it in a sawing
motion back and forth. 3M also makes a glue remover. It works good on
the residue left. Only use it outside. I almost didn't make it out of the garage.
