The first step in my restoration was to try and identify its origin. Since it has been painted twice since its military service, once yellow, and the last Allis Chamers Orange First place I looked was the bumper for a "HQ" number But all I could find was a Star

The next place I tried was a door, and found a 16" Star and a 6" Bridge Decal with a number "4"

I had better luck on the hood I found the Federal # asigned to the truck along with US ARMY

Now that I got the info I wanted I can really get going with the removal of body parts and start sandblasting I'll keep ya'll posted on my progress
