The USAF flew a C-17 in two years ago, did a public walk-thru all day, then flew it in the show. When they flew it down the air strip, they were only about 150-200 feet off the deck, ground speed like only 30-40 mph, and the nose was so high the fuselage looked to be tilted at about a 45 degree angle. Truly awesome to see.

It was cool to see the C-17 back up several humdred feet on the taxi way as well. They had the door open in the back with some airman watching. I guess C-17's don't come with rearview mirrors.

I might make it out with the new rig.
