While on vacation last week I saw these two half tracks at the museum at Ft. Lewis Washington, the museum has been undergoing restoration for quite some time and is only open one day a week right now so I was unable to tour the inside. Most of their outside displays are fairly common vehicles but I saw this M15 halftrack along with a M3.Both have been outside for a long time and are in pretty sad shape.I had never seen a M15 before, wonder what they would take in trade?:)

Fort Jackson had a M15 back in the 1970s. It was at that time in very good shape. It came from vehicles we had given to Japan after the war to help her build up there military. If we had not given them to Japan, then they would had ended up as targets on a range somewhere.
Nice photos.
