Snorkel windshield bolts sizing

Take a look at TM 9-2320-280-24P-2, section 398-1 or page 254/1020.

It has a complete diagram and parts breakdown if you want the exact parts used with the kit, which is 1/4" hardware.

I installed a couple aluminum 5/16" rivnuts and some Grade 8 5/16" bolts and washers. Of course, I was also mounting an Ibis Tek lightbar along with the snorkel so I wanted some beefier hardware.

I did not have a rivet nut tool at the time and my solution was to use rubber well nuts that fit in the hole and swell up when tightened by the 1/4 bolts. Home depot stocks them in the hardware aisle in the drawers. Unless you plan on whacking it with a huge tree limb, it will do just fine.
