The entire microwave system linking Sanibel Island to Ft. Myers 911 call center and all emergency radio communications stopped working because the Cummins 60KW Genset sucked in glasswool insulation used in attics, which was set free by the winds which destroyed nearby homes.
The glasswool clocked up the cooling fan and Genset shutdown with overheat error / warning.
This turned on the UPS system which is designed to provide interim power until Genset starts in normal power outages.
The 48V Batteries of the UPS are completely drained.
Two dishes to uplink to Sanibel PD and Pine Island where damaged by the wind as well
