Southeast Mog Fest - Windrock Park, Tennessee 29 May - 1 Jun 2014

Just a heads-up that the Southeast Mog Fest will be held at Windrock Park, Tennessee, 29 May through 1 Jun 2014. This is just a bunch of Unimog owners in the Southeast who get together every year, so it's not a big official or sponsored event.

There is usually a variety of Unimogs present. Big and little, Military and Civilian. There will be easy and tough trail rides, and at least one trip to an abandoned USAF Radar Base on the top of a mountain which once provided security during the Cold War for the Manhattan Project's plants in Oak Ridge, TN. If you're wanting something tougher and different than the typical off-roader Rally, you will be happy!

This is a huge off-road park in the Tennessee Mountains and loaded with miles and miles of trails, and with a very nice campground. There is primitive camping with a very nice bathhouse, or RV spots or Cabins.

Just get a campsite and show up! The website is http://www.windrockpark.com/ Mog Central usually is centered on the Primitive campsites, those starting with P numbers. There's a bathhouse associated with those campsites.

Go to the website, click Campground, then Campground Map, and look for the "P" sites. When you call the CG they can tell you what's available. I have an RV site just over the hill.
