What size rims are stock on the M1009. Mine came without a spare and I would like to get a couple. The tires and rims now on are 31x10.5-r15 LT. Sould I stick with this size or can I get a larger tire on the stock rims?
I have 35 inch tires on my stock rims on a m1028. I would not go past that in my opinion. Alot of members with m1009's put 33 inch on stock rims. Anything past 35 inch you are getting really to wide for the stock rims, plus you will need a lift putting anything past 32 inch or 33 inch lifts. Mine has a 4 1/2 inch lift and I have plenty of room to spare.
I have been looking for hours and I am only finding stock rims from some German outfit?!? What can I use as a spare rim. Where can I get one? Hey It is a spare so it does not have to look exactly the same; but it would be nice. What is the spec on this rim?
Thanks... oh I still have a few hairs I must have missed, hang on.... @#%@^#$, there, I'm not pulling my hair out by the roots anymore.
this is a standard 6 bolt chevy rim...... ANY rim from an 70 - 80's model 1/2 ton truck, blazer will work.... local junk yard will have (should have) a stack of them...

This is what I am talking about. Thanks, I'll get on it.
