It does not look like the Military had any, but did the civilian Blazers have a swing arm spare tire carrier to hold the tire on the rear of the 80's Blazers? If so does anyone have a source or passably have one for sale?

I have seen a few Blazers with swing out tire carriers. They didn't last long because they were only bolted to the body. Allot fell off. Dont do it.

There are a few companies out there that make a rear tire carrier for the blazer though.

If you love yourail gate and yourt rear window as well as the right or left side rear fender, you leave the spare tire where it belongs to.
The other way round: how to drive a patrol with 2 guys on the fold down tail gate if one of them has to hold the spare tire carrier not to slam the side of the tail gate......
