I looked in the thread but I might not be wording this right. I know it has been talked of. Can you take a duece air shift transfer case and put it in a 5 ton. My thought is no because of the gearing but that is not an educated guess. The other problem would be the jack shaft flange I think the 5 ton has more bolt holes. The other thing is I have not seen a 5 ton yet that has been converted. So I am correct in assuming that it wront work.

The Deuce Tcase is much smaller than the 5-ton.
