I think that's abit small 12volts 2 amps would only be 1 amp 24 volts it only does starter solenoid but it a big one. I would say at least a 10amp rated at 24 volts at min ever time you push it it arcs inside and if it's to small will quickly wear out

What is the coil draw of the starter solenoid?
I may just have to throw a meter across the button....
