Will the M1082 trailer free wheel when towed behind a Ford F550 or do you have to have an air supply on them to unlock the breaks like the M989A1 Heavy Ammunition Trailers require?

I believe they are pure air brakes, but you can cage them so they'll free wheel

You put caging bolts in . You will find plenty of information by searching " how to cage brakes" and doing a little reading.
