Supplemental armor X door strikers and body hinges

I am mounting a set of supplemental armor doors on #2 M998, I see two styles of X door strikers, one is just a pin and the other is a pin with a flange on the end, it looks like the one with a flange would be much more likely to grab clothing etc., also it looks like the same body hinges that are used on the soft doors are also called for on the supplemental armor X doors seem rather light weight to me considering how heavy the doors are.

same hinges. I think the flanged strikers are newer model. Both work fine.

I know my M1123 that had armor doors removed before I bought it has the strikers with the flange.
The regular strikers should work just fine; the supplemental armor door is just an X-door with some sheet metal over it.
