Here is a Periscope out of a Russian T-72 Tank. I picked it up at a flea market recently. It is from the tank commanders position in the turret. I am trying to learn about this item. Does it have night vision or IR capabilties? How many volsts does it run on? Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

These are 1st GEN night vision scopes requiring an active IR source. 24VDC. Very basic, 1970's technology.

What about this one?

I brought this back from afhghanstan a few months ago, What tank did it come off of, and what may it be worth? The Taliban used it to adjust mortar rounds on us, we ended up finding it in a cache, and my command wrote a memo so I could store it in the Arms room.

Hey should you decide to part with your find, we have a T-62 that has an unsightly hole where that scope should be... LOL!

You can make it work, but its weight, size, and plug pin out would be quite the hassle...
