Dont know much about tanks. But love MV's. I came across this one somewhere in western Nebraska. Was on my way to Estes Park, CO. for a motorcycle trip with my family.

Just thought someone might like it. (sorry I wasn't closer, was in my truck with a 30ft trailer. Trying to avoid traffic to get diesel!!!)

Looks like an M47 or M48. MMM track

Where the bore evaculator is at makes it I believe an M60.

Definitely an M60A1 or M60A3. My guess is the latter because the gun tube looks like it has a thermal shroud and it looks like there might be a wind sensor mast on the rear turret roof.

Thats an M60A3. ShootER is correct on his points but you can also tell if it has the smoke grenade launchers on the side of the turret, only the A3 had those.
