Temp. gauge pinned at 240

When I turn on the power the temp gauge pegs at 240. Any suggestions?
It was fine before I power washed the truck.

The dirt was the only thing keeping it working and you washed it off.

I hqad the same problem a couple of days ago, Just a bad ground although I am replacing the eletric gauge with a mecanical temp gauge. Little disturbing to look down and see the temp gauge pegged out,,,,:shock:
