Picking up a trailer at Texarkana next week after some storms move though.
It's looking like they will be getting some good rainfall.

Is it a mud bog there after a decent rain?
Cant tell by pictures if it's gravel or just graded lots.

They only do pickups M-W 9-2. Of course!

GP was less than helpful in phone.

Thanks

Not sure as I have not picked up for GP but for GL there is a paved drmo lot, rock lot, dirt lot, and just plain ole on the side of the road. Place is massive with stuff everywhere. Allow plenty of time for Background check / pass / and vehicle inspection. Can take an hour if they are busy.......

Current Military ID so getting in shouldn't be too bad.
Took maybe 5 minutes at fort hood on 9/11

Never been to the remote yard. But the SEE crowd sure has been to that yard, check in with one of them. There is a SEE thread where they all commiserate about their rat eaten rolling identity crises.

Good idea
I can see a ton of the SEEs in the background on the listing pics.

Picked up trailer this morning.
As mentioned, the whole lot is graveled. Rain would not affect recovery.
Lots of items and junk there but still room to get around.

They DO have a big forklift there. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.
Watched 3 SEEs get loaded with help of that forklift.
GP rep wasn't there, but a very helpful young man was. He could actually drive the forklift and is good with it.
Place was busy with 7 people picking up trailers and SEEs.

Lots of trailers, used very hard SEEs, and really really trashed HMMWVs

Easy place to get in and out.

Hope this helps.

anyone know about loadout's on the Red River Army Depot GP site? from what Evan the GP rep told me my 923a2 is located in a dirt lot on the base, he claimed it was about 1/2 a mile from the gate. anyone have any experience loading out trucks, is Evan helpful? the truck I purchased is a non runner, so I'm trying to figure out what I need to get my truck loaded on a detached neck trailer, and semi. Thanks in advance.

Was this location on RRAD or off post?
