I'm in DC for the weekend and due to the weather, my previous plans got cancelled. I'm originally from DC/Virginia, so I've seen all the monuments, museums, parks, etc. Any recommendations for things to do this Saturday? Bonus points for things MV related.

If you go to APG, Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, it's not all that far, but if you go there, you need a week to look at all the tanks, SP artillery, and other stuff. From tiger tanks, to M1A1 tanks, to the worlds largest rail gun.

I believe they moved everything to Ft. Lee, if I am not mistaken. Things to do in DC? Hmmm...if you have never been, you could check out the new water front area in SW DC. Or, you could go to National Harbor. It is fairly new and has a lot of cool restaurants and shopping. There is even a huge ferris wheel, but I don't know if the cars are enclosed. They also have a casino if you are into that sort of thing. There is also a fairly new Museum of American Indians in DC. I have never been there, but my son and wife loved it.

Well, it has been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog time since I was in the States. And that's a shame if the Army moved the museum. Oh well.
