With all the jets I doubt I will hear the crickets. It is nice to have a shaded place to sit and watch the airshow. Last year there was a few from the board there. Last year R. Lee Ermy showed up. There is a local parade with the reenactors and vehicles on the Friday before the show. I did not go because of work. I missed out. Ermy hung out with the group and just milled about looking at the vehicles. I hope to put up my camo netting to shield the truck a little from the sun. It is authentic and practical. Usually there are two WWII reenactments a day usually with a lot of armor on both sides. This year there is a WWII battle in the morning and a Vietnam reenactment in the afternoon complete with hueys adn skyraiders.
Sorry I didn't touch base with you at TOM, but I was going 100mph with my hair on fire being involved with both battles. We were there with the M35 and the M114, halftrack and weasel.
I was with Chuck and he took a lot of pictures, so hopefully he'll post up. I had my freshly restored hmmwv there and we had a good time. Some nice gun trucks (Wild Thing, Mince Meat) from Indiana were there.
