Fellas,
I'm replacing a timing chain and IP simultaneously. Unless I am confused, which is highly likely, I am suppose to line the timing marks on the on the IP driven gear (6 o'clock) and IP drive gear (12 o'clock). Then when removing the timing chain components, align the timing marks AGAIN, on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets in the same fashion. Is this correct? The camshaft and crankshaft marks are 12 o'clock and 12 o'clock respectively. I guess my question is, do I crank her until the camshaft and crankshaft sprocket timing marks align 6 and 12 o'clock, and realign my IP gears when the time comes? Thanks.
