Tire lube- Paste or liquid?

It seems that I'll be compelled to buy a gallon jug of liquid or a large tub of paste, so I don't want to buy a lifetime supply of the wrong thing.

Which do you guys prefer- paste or liquid? Any favorite brands? Any brands to steer clear of?

I bought liquid when doing mine.
It does seem to dry out a little faster than paste does, but it's easier to get into places like the bead surface when prying on stuff, as it will flow down into the gap while you are prying, and paste doesn't usually flow like that.

I can't really give comparisons as I bought a gallon and haven't used much of it.
Pretty sure I just used whatever brush I had lying around to apply it.

KenTool Bead-Eze tire lube. I have an amazon commercial account, so only cost me $27 for a gallon.

Ether will work fine for you, I use the past because it can fill a 2" gap between the bead and the rim to inflate a tire (common with tractor tires), not an issue with the HMMWV tires, I get mine in 5 gal buckets.

I just use the Murphy's tire and tube compound concentrate. If i need it straight I have it, then if I need the diluted liquid I just take some separately and dilute it down.
