I found these 16.00 x 20s on ebay and it is less than 250miles from me.
$55 for 25% tread. IN the last picture below.
Doesn't seem like to bad of a price. I was looking to put them on my 62 M-61. I recently picked up 4 combat wheels from the GL with 14.00s on them but 2 of them are shot. I am on a limited budget and also planning on swapping in a 6.9 IDI from a IH bus that has a turbo on it and already setup with the SAE2 bellhousing but also has a Spicer 4054D tranny with 112k for $600. So I dont want to get to outrageous on buying the 14.00s and shipping to here in Montana is killer.
My question is would these work with the combat wheels I have? Would I have to use the tubes? If so where could I find them? The tire shops up here don't even know where to find a 14.00 or 16.00 tires.
I doubt these tires would fit on my stock 5 ton rims? Or would they just blow off the bead. I dont use the truck often, mostly lately it has just been to pull my 25' GN out of the woods loaded with 18 - 20k lbs of firewood cause my F250 cant handle the mountain grade. It would see some snow since it does have a plow attached to it. It may see some soft ground depending on the logging road conditions.
I would like the 14.00 or bigger due to you can see in the 3rd picture that the back push bar mounting on my plow mount is VERY close to the ground with the 11.00s so the more clearance the better.
