Trans cooler line

Just an FYI broke down last night in Auburn, CA due to the trans cooler line failing. It cracked right after the flair on the fitting going to the transmission. I was driving and the trans temp light came on pulled over Immediately and oil was all over everything. I am pretty sure I shut it down in time. Had to have it towed to a shop not cheap as you could imagine. They are going to replace the lines with hydraulic hose to eliminate the hard lines. Just something to keep in mind in your travels. Also my truck only has 700 miles on it. The fittings where way over tight I think this is what led to the crack.

Truck probably had many more miles than that. Speedo's get changed and they don't care if mileage in the swap got matched or not. This has been mentioned many times. And that seems to fit this scenario cause that line won't vibrate crack with such few miles. Others have reported this same break. Mine did too.
