I have a steel one on an M101 that I gave away. Works great except you have to work around the tailgate latches.

sweet im thinking of doing that to my m101a2 Does it look pretty water tight? can you post a picture of the tailgate area?

Hmmmmm- thats a lot better than my idea of flipping a seocnd bed on top. Now to watch Craigslist for a proper cover..............

TRUCK BED SIZE CHARTS
Hangs over about an inch on each side but will seal up when I put down some topper sealer foam. For the latches I'll just use a clevis pin upside down to hold the tail gate

Yep I'm going to be watching Craig's list myself. The hard top will last longer and if I hold out for the right one it will probably be cheaper than finding a soft top.

Well that trailer get's the Possum Lodge, Two Thumbs Up Award.
Would have been nice to see more Duct Tape used, but I figure that is what you were talking about when refering to a seal.
