Driving home last night and the left turn signal started fading in and out the stopped working so i checked the bulbs they are fine now im at a loss any ideas what to check next?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Thanks Chadande, I just went through the process you described, worked like a charmI just fixed a similar problem on mine.
First check to see that the lights and wiring are OK.
Unscrew the wire harness from the blinker handle on the steering column.
Make a small jumper wire 3" long or so.
Check the lights by sticking the wire in G (hot) and then each light one at a time:
G=hot
A=front pass
B=front driver
C=rear driver
E=rear pass
If they all work try this:
1. Remove blinker handle from steering column
2. Remove 4 screws and open up housing
3. Use a small strip of fine sand paper to clean the spring contacts on both sides. (You'll see what I mean when you open it up).
This fixed it for me.
Good luck!
