Turn Signal Issue

Yep, another turn signal thread. I did a search, nothing with my symptoms. Here is the deal. New control box last year. All LED Bulbs. The special indicator bulb. Left side works fine. Right side blinks but fast. Just like if you have a bulb out. Both front and rear bulbs aren't as bright as the other side that is working. Here is what I have done:
*swapped bulbs/no change
*cleaned all the grounds in the housing and the wire on the back of the housings.
*took a ground jumper right from the battery to the anodized bulb holder in the front and rear housings/no change
*checked voltage/all good
*checked connection at control box and made sure mounting bolts were clean and tight/no change
And another symptom/clue-I have recently added a small trailer to pull. All LED bulbs on that. Everything works, mimics the truck. Left side works fine, right side is dim AND....the blinker on the truck completely stops working on that right side but the trailer does blink, fast and not bright.
One other thing-when the hazards are on, I step on brake, all flashing stops. Let off, everything back. And, with hazards on, right and left are steady and bright. Unlike when the right side is used normally.
Do I need a new control box? I hear that even new ones can be bad. I am stumped and would just like it to work properly. No, I have not used the TM's, but feel like I have covered my bases with the diagnostics.

Put the incandescents back in the front Lights. Had this same issue. The flasher unit had problems with so little resistance.

Mark, This was the solution!!! Thank you so much. Up and running perfectly. The only odd thing is that the left side worked fine with LED's, the right side was the issue. Putting the incandescent back in front solved it. Thank you

You could get the LED bulbs with the anti hyperflash which has a resistor build in unlike those awful looking inline resistors. Mine had the same odd one flasher light not working.

I remember a funny story that some northern city wanted to save energy cost. They had a brilliant idea to change all the street lights to LED at a very substantial cost.

They did not think it through as in the next winter snow would build up on the traffic lights and made them useless so the had another brilliant idea to install heaters in the traffic lights to keep them warm at another substantial cost and now no energy savings at all. The incandescents gave off light and heat and kept the lights free of snow and ice. Don't know why I thought of that tonight but gave me a chuckle.
