Turn Signals

I've just recovered my 1028 from Huntsville. The truck runs and drives fine and other than somer fender rust from a leaking battery is in fine shape (I'm working on the pictures)

Most everything seems to work correctly except that the turn signals lamps will operate without the ignition on while the dash indicators do not work at all--is this normal? I've gone through the wiring diagrams in the manuals and they are not exactly clear on the internal switch wiring.

Try replacing your turn signal indicator bulbs in the dash first. Good luck. I got big fingers and the space is small.

I had no idea they worked with the key off but I checked and mine do. Wonder if that was so you could check lights without the glowplugs ?
