If I understand you guys correctly, the
M923
M923a2
M925

Are all good and it is just personal preference as to which is more desirable.
If that is correct, I seem to like the M925 with hard top, "ten tires" and winch.
It would be nice to have the turbo, but that is just one more thing to go wrong.

You're kinda listing apples to oranges.

M923 = 939 series 5 ton cargo truck, no winch, 11.00 tires and a non-turbo Cummins 250 engine.
M923A2 = 939 series 5 ton cargo truck, no winch, 14.00 tires, CTIS, 8.3 Turbo cummins engine.
M925 = 939 series 5 ton cargo truck, with winch, 11.00 tires and a non-turbo Cummins 250 engine.

You left out some other variants in that chain. The M923A1 would be basically the A2, only minus the turbo 8.3 and CTIS. Apply the same logic to the 925 as well.

Lots of info can be found in the TMs for this.

The HARSCO/BMY trucks all have the Cummins 8.3 turbo diesel. I like the fact that you can drive down the road and carry on a coversation unlike trucks with the "nifty 250" which is very loud. You can tweak the 8.3 and get a lot more HP unlike the 250 which is, and always was, a dog of an engine. Of all the cargo trucks I've bought from GL my M927 is hands down my favorite. Fuel milage is a lot better with the 8.3 also. Just my biased opinion for what it's worth.
