USMC M.U.T.T. restoration 70' Ford

Gentlemen,
I have a 70 Ford MUTT that I would like to restore in USMC colors, I would like some help the shade of the Forest Green per Vietnam era and the color of the type and font for bumper markings, it presently has black stars and lettering as it is at the moment in US ARMY colors ( long story ) . I am somewhat confused as to the dark yellow marking I have seen on Marine MUTTs. any advice would be greatly welcomed.

Welcome. Get a sample of Rapco's 34052 and see if you like it. Not much rhyme or reason to USMC markings. Very unit specific. Generally yellow lettering.
