voltage regulator for MEP-018A

Does anyone know of a source for the voltage regulator for the MEP-018A 10KW gas genset?

Mike, I was able to repair mine by replacing a power transistor more or less by luck, since I had no way of bench testing the unit.
I should have some of those transistors floating around if you feel like trying that "cure"....

There's one on Ebay for sale now, if you have the newer style. I don't know if they are compatible with the older ones.

The regs are interchangable. The open frame one is repairable, the enclosed one will prove to be more difficult. I have an old one in a scrap bin, doubt that it works.
