Vortex Shmortex '77 M880

This is my 1977 Dodge M880. I've had it for a few years of mostly sitting and piddling around with it. As you can see, it was utilized by a fire department before me. They used it for field brush fires so it had a water tank in the rear. I sold that, rebuilt the carb, put in new rear wheel cylinders, front pads/rotors/calipers as the old ones stuck and were filled with rust. She runs/drives/stops and burns a little oil. Needs a new radiator in spring but other than that is doing alright for the age. Minimal rust for the most part.

The girlfriend, dog, and I decided to get out and have some fun a few weeks ago despite all this winter vortex BS the Midwest has been dealing with. 42 years old and still running!

That is one nice 880 and great dog too! 42 years old means nothing, those trucks can be incredibly dependable once the bugs are worked out.
