Wanted: Classifieds Section Moderator
The classifieds section is beginning to get a little ragged-too much chit chat, threads/posts not deleted once the item is sold (or found!), etc. We have discussed this and we feel the best course of action is a dedicated, classifieds section moderator that will take ownership of the classifieds section.
The ideal candidate is well spoken, easy going, has strong English skills and most importantly, understands how to deal with different personalities and can diffuse difficult situations. Prior management experience preferred but not required.
Benefits:
You'll pay no taxes on your income.

You'll be able to assist people in the HMV hobby
You'll learn lots of new ways for people to call you dirty names and get them past the dirty word filter
Downsides:

Weird hours
Weird co-workers
Harassment from people who think you are editing their ad because you're a Satanist who hates them, America, Mom, apple pie and dogs.

Understand that the position will be offered under a probationary, 30-day trial period, after which we will decide whether to keep you on or let you back into the woods.
The successful applicant will have great latitude in moderating the classifieds section but will occasionally have to defer to our judgement.
Job will be renewed on a yearly basis.
